Here is the rest of the task we did the week 10 and 11. I didn’t manage to upload the pictures before now.
These two weeks we were about Layout and we were asked to solve a bunch of different small tasks. Because of my limited access to equipment I haven’t solved all of them yet, so the other task will be published as soon as I have the right equipment.
This week is about Photography and to get to know our SRL camera. To do so we’ve been asked to name the buttons on the front and back of the camera ass well as how we change some basic settings. I’ve got a Canon 55D or Rebel T2i camera and it’s the same I’ve had for years.
The photography I’ve chosen has a strong, and for some, an unpleasant illustration. This photography is taken of a killed solider during the civil war. Due to the text and other information found on the picture I believe the image was taken in 1864 in the fight of Virginia and the Assault on Petersburg.
Out task this week was to pick three events in the timeline from this week’s lesson History of Photography and write an explaining paragraph to each one.
The last learning activity in this week 7 I made a cover for the book “To the lighthouse”. Fist I planned on drawing and animating the book cover but ended up putting together different pictures to make a suiting and realistic looking picture to the front.
